Travis had his Legos put up high last night for refusing to clean them up, and let me just say, it has been a loooong day, essentially spent by him trying to talk me into getting them down for him. So he disappeared for a while into his room and when he came out he had resolved the problem. He found his controllers for me.
The first makes me get his legos down.
The second makes me get him a special treat
Next gets me to not send him to his room
Then a trip to Burger King
And the last one makes me do all of the above.

When I asked if I could take a picure of him using the controllers on me he said, "Well, they don't actually work."
And I said, "Well, one did, because you're out of your room."
It's been a really long day.

What a creative kid! And a super cutie. I am glad, though, to hear that the controllers don't work.
What a neat story to 'document'. I also think that is soo creative - wow it is hard to be a good mom & stick to your decisions!! Glad you made it and the end of a long day! Hopefully you can put your feet up & have a glass of wine!
Kids can be so creative! Especially when it comes to getting what they want. Don't we just wish we had controllers that could control our children. Or maybe take us...hmmm, on our dream vacation!
Was worth a try I'm sure!
What a clever little guy! If only there was such a thing as a kids controller. I'd be in line at 4am for that.
Too cute and here's hopin' tomorrow is a little less long!
That is great. What a creative little cutie.
And I'd be in line right behind Shannon at 4 am for a kids controller.
Kids are so stinkin' SMART!!
How come I lost that now that I need it more??
what a funny guy! you'll love to remind him of this story when he's 20!
I'm LOVING this story.
